Hi! My name is Clarissa James and I am so
excited to be part of the Derby Ridge first grade team! More importantly I am THRILLED to be your
child’s teacher this year! It’s going to be a fun
year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what’s
in store for us!
This is my third year
teaching here at Derby Ridge. I earned
my teaching certificate from Columbia
College in December of 2010 and finished my Masters’ in Teaching in December of
2011. I have two beautiful daughters
that are growing so quickly! Chloe will
be a seventh grader and loves to play tennis.
Cassidy, my youngest daughter, will be in sixth grade and enjoys playing
softball. They both will attend Gentry
Middle School this year. My girls are so much fun and they keep me on my
toes! I love them so much! We also have a Beagle named Harry who we
just adore!
